Documentary Screenings at the Academy 2008 October 13 Monday

BY ANDRE SOARES. LOS ANGELES (CINEMA MINIMA) — The two 1991 Oscar-winning documentaries, DEADLY DECEPTION and IN THE SHADOW OF THE STARS will be shown as part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences series, “Oscar’s Docs, Part Four: Academy Award–Winning Documentaries, 1988–1997.” The films will be screened 2008 October 13 Monday 7:30 PM at the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood. Filmmakers Debra Chasnoff, Irving Saraf, and Allie Light will take part in post-screening discussions.
