MrMovie.com Releases New Mobile Site for Movie Fans

MrMovie.com releases new mobile site for movie fans

MrMovie.com, a start-up from the Netherlands, is a relatively new international movie site. This week MrMovie released its new mobile version, with a special iPhone version.

MrMovie
The website was launched last year, with an MSN Live Messenger robot. The site also has a channel on Twitter, Jaiku, Skype (chat) and a beta version for AOL/AIM. CEO of MrMovie, An advanced mobile version is a logical next step.

MrMovie mobile
The Mobile site has four versions. The default is the ‘light’ version. There are two iPhone versions (with/without javascript) and also a touchscreen PDA version. You can change the number of news items and photo settings. This might be important if you have no flat-fee mobile internet contract (costs), or if you are browsing with a relative old phone or slow connection (speed).

Movie tools
The mobile site contains a large movie database. You can check the top 10 US/UK, the most popular movies, watch movie trailers and search in the database. You can also search for your favorite actor. We have a list with the most popular actors, based on what people searched for.
MrMovie selects the latest movie news from the best sources. Browsing to older items is very easy.

My MrMovie
If you are a frequent user, you might be interested in creating an account at MrMovie. Jus save interesting movies to your ‘my movies’ list. If you are in the DVD shop or planning to go to the cinema, you can check your list on your mobile phone and pick one of your favorites. Same service we offer for your favorite actors.

MrMovie - behind the scenes
The dutch version, MrMovie.nl, has already proven to be successful in the Netherlands. The Dutch site has many visitors every day and over 100.000 contacts for the MSN Live Messenger bot. And especially, the amount of visitors on the Dutch mobile site grow significantly. MrMovie thinks that a worldwide movie portal has much more potential and many more opportunities. Users can expect more movie tools and services from MrMovie in future for shore!
